With only a few supplies you can be the best Christmas Elf ever!
My three boys LOVE Mario Cart, so after I found these cute Mario pajama bottoms,
I needed to make matching tops. I used white t-shirts to make the custom tops.
I got this idea from Inger Erickson.

Another great Christmas Idea

Upcycled Door

I found this great door in Ennis, Montana.
We drove by an antique shop and this door was outside, leaning against the wall. It was really, really dirty, but I LOVED it at first sight. Previously it was the door to the chicken coup. My sweet husband tied it to the top of our Tahoe with little resistance... I'm sure he was afraid to ask what I was planning on doing with an old door!

With a little TLC, lots of soap, sand paper, polyacrylic clear coat and new chicken wire, it looks great!

Check-out this great video I was able to work on with Inger Erickson.

View the video on the Creative Story Tree channel.

It's a great idea she came up with, taping the back of fabric with duck tape to be able to cut the fabric with no fraying. So cute, inexpensive and super easy!

Supplies:
Original strength duck tape
Fabric
Vinyl letters
Hold punch
String or twine

Step One: Apply duck tape to wrong side of fabric and line-up strips until you've covered the desired area
Step Two: Trace your template on the back of the fabric and cut-ou the shape
Step Three: Apply vinyl lettering to fabric
Step Four: Punch, string and secure your banner
